StabiWood was founded by Graham and Robyn Pudney to bring composites designed for fencing and decking to New Zealand. They saw that the 90% recycled product suits Kiwi lifestyles with little or no maintenance allowing time for leisure activities that we all enjoy. Who wants to paint the fence or stain the deck in the weekend when you could be fishing, biking or just sitting on your deck enjoying some family time.
Graham has over 30 years of importing and distribution experience and has extensive knowledge of production facilities at suppliers factories and still retains a part ownership of a factory in China. His family is involved in forestry and wood processing as well as the largest plastic sheet extruder in New Zealand. Recently a large PET recycling plant was added and opened by the Prime Minister.
With this background, importing a Wood Plastic Composite using 55% recycled wood, 35% recycled HDPE and 10% additives including UV stabilisers, colours and others, seemed logical!
Traditional timber decking can twist and splinter after just a few years without treatment. StabiWood delays the weathering process and is equipped with Anti-UV technology to combat fading in sunlight
StabiWood is a modern solution for fencing in New Zealand. Using aluminium posts and composite wood boards to create stable and stylish fencing looks like natural wood but is UV resistant and made from recycled wood fiber and recycled plastic.
PVC Fencing is a maintenance free product that will complement traditional designed homes, while providing modern, low cost, and excellent looking alternative fence.
